Money vs. Love. Which is more important? By Rob Parks

I just turned 27 years old on July 22nd. Seems like life is getting very real for me and I’m getting a lot of clarity on a lot of situations. I’ve been thinking about the topic “Love vs. Money” lately. Which one is more important? This is actually kind of tough. We as human beings want to loved. No ifs, ands or buts about that. It’s just human nature. However, WE ALL NEED MONEY TO DO ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD! To be honest if I had to make the choice on having Money vs. Love I would choose money 10 times out of 10. I will tell you a few reasons why I feel this way.

I actually would like to be married one day. So I would like to experience real love in my lifetime. However, I know that to sustain a healthy marriage I need to be financially stable. So I’ve made the decision to get my money first before I even seriously consider going down that path. Right now I’m just trying to find my way in this life and breaking into my career path just like most people in their 20’s. Moral of the story: if you don’t have money, your marriage won’t last too long.

Secondly, if I one day come up on a lot of money (which feasibly could happen one day) I can seriously get whatever woman I want. That’s just the reality. Women are naturally attracted to money, fame and power. I think Darwin has a theory on this. Women are just naturally attracted to a dude that handles his business. I know this, everyone else should admit it.

Lastly, I would like a lot of money for other reasons besides for my own personal pleasure. I would like to be that person in my family that starts off a real legacy for the Parks family. I want my grandkids, grandkids to be straight. I won’t be alive forever so I would like to create something that is sustainable for my family when I’m no longer here.

When the money comes, the love takes care of itself. Period.

There Are No Coincidences in Life and THERE IS A GOD!

I’ve always known this, but over the past month or so this fact has really been confirmed. THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES IN LIFE. Also, there is a God. Some people call him Jesus, The Grand Architect, Buddha, Krishna, etc. To me personally none of those names or religions really matters to me. I think the majority of people on this planet use their religions to stay divided. I saw an interesting quote from Steve Jobs that said something about all of these religions being different doors to the same house.

I know that there is Higher Power that has it’s hand on my life and I ride with that. I thank God for the people around me that pray for me as well. I always wondered why when I prayed that my prayers ALWAYS get answered and usually the time it take varies. This past week I prayed to God to open some doors for me that maybe I wouldn’t even expect. No lie, Monday I got multiple phone calls for big time opportunities that could possibly change my life FOREVER. There is no other way to explain this happening but that GOD DID IT! All I can say that I am humbled to say the least and grateful. This year I’m ready to step into my greatness and step into God’s plan for my life.

NO COINCIDENCES IN LIFE!
